Very disappointed, the room I was given was by the kitchen/work area and was very nosy. The shutters in the bathroom weren't covered properly so I could see out and most likely you could see in. The really disappointing thing was the beds had insects and bugs.

A peaceful getaway

A nice hotel a little set off the road. The terraces are thus intimate and it is comfortable to enjoy the breakfast, which is served on your own terrace. The river is on the other side of the main road. A glass of fresh juice is offered daily, when you return to the hotel from the day's outing. We reserved trips, bicycles, and a motorcycle from the hotel. The center of the town is some distance away so having wheels saves time and energy when moving around. Room was spacious and so was the bathroom. Bathtub was roomy and thoroughly enjoyable.

lovely stay and great location but no privacy

great hotel and wonderful breakfast. The location is fabulous and the staff so helpful. The bed was comfortable and the shower/bathroom good. If you re on the lower floor and someone is above you you hear them and visa versa- it is on old teak house- beautifully restored but there is no privacy for the noises of the people above and to the sides. We did not mind but laughed at some of the shared conversations between floors.

Nice little villa in a quiet part of town! Big room and it was great to have breakfast on the balcony overlooking the river! Staff very helpful with booking tours and even helped with laundry

I cannot recommend this place at all. There's something of a sham going on and the treatment we received upon arrival was horrible. We booked two rooms for five nights only to be told that we couldn't stay at the hotel for the first two nights because of some plumbing problems they had to fix. Two rooms needed to be fixed? It was suspicious from the start, honestly. "David" the manager, said we could to stay at his brothers other guesthouse nearby, which was a significant downgrade from what we paid. It was terrible. It took all our patience and calmness to deal with them. I really want to report this place it was that bad.
