"1. Took a very long time to confirm the booking, the reception couldn't see any bookings from Hotels.com. 2. Room looks ok at first glance, but ALOT of dust and filth everywhere, only cleaned the most obvious places. 3. Got hungry around 21:30 and figured we would take our bike from the resort to the night market in Luang Prabang, to our surprise the gate to the hotel area was closed and it was not possible to get out. "The hotel should be rated 2 star or less. They used low grade materials to build this hotel. The hotel is so horrible. I had to wait for a long time for hot water to come in. The whole place was rushed to finish and you can use the unfinished job left behind. People were smoking in the lobby! I was so happy to leave the place. 2 night was too long!! "

Arriving early evening, the light pathway was simply attractive far better to what we expected when camping. "I absolutely loved staying at the Mekong Riverview Hotel. It was in a great location, came with a free breakfast that was very nice, the woman in charge and her family did an incredible job of taking care of everybody’s needs and providing a great experience for all of us staying there. I actually felt like a member of their family by the time I left. If I came back to Nong Khiaw , I would only stay with them and not even consider another place. I’m still thinking about the wonderful time I had there."
