"From well before Check-in, the communication from the hotel was great! They reached out several times to inquire about anticipated arrival time, any needs, and so forth. The room was so nice, and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean, the towels amazing and plentiful, and all the toiletries one might need. Too bad I was only booked for 1 night. I loved the Happy Hour in the lobby, and the breakfast provided was probably the best hotel complimentary breakfast I've ever had (I selected eggs, chicken sausage, pork sausage, yogurt with fresh blueberries and a banana I sliced, great hot coffee). I saw many other breakfast choices as well. The location directly across the street from the beach and the running path was ideal. It was a very short walk to the Harbor for great restaurant dinner choices. Parking was easy in and out, and free. All staff wwre friendly and helpful. I absolutely loved my stay and will book again. The rate was incredible for the area, as beach hotels here can get pricey. All in all, 10/10. "

"Great location off of East Beach, yet a 5 minute ride to downtown, under 10 minutes to Montecito. Beautiful hotel, amazing public spaces, and Convivo is a great restaurant especially first thing in the morning, although lunch, happy hour and dinner ate excellent as well. The staff are friendly, professional, and they went out of yheir way to ensure my stay was the best. (Thank you Ruth and Jacob). My room was perfect for my week stay, partial view of the beach, spacious with a balcony with a seating atea. The room was nicely furnished and the ensuite bath waz large with a double vanity and both soaking tub and walk-in shower. Toiletries provided were good quality and much appreciated as were the robe and slippers. The pool area is medium size, and mostly emplty, good fitness center, and I appreciated thw business center. The front lobby is comfortable with a fireplace, and jn the evenings just off the libby is a patio with seating around a large gas fire pit - perfect for this time of year. ;B-Cycle rental bikes hsve 4 locations within walking distance, that was a big plus. In all, I had a great visit and will definitely be back. "

"To start with, the staff are very kind and accommodating - I had a gig that started at the time their check-in is and due to traffic beforehand and finishing up well after their front desk closed, they offered a solution that they will leave my key where I can grab it when I arrive so that I would be able to get in (also, luckily, there was actually someone at the front desk somehow at 4am as the key was unintentionally left inside so I'm grateful to her). I booked a bed in the all female 10 bed dormitory and had zero issues. Clean sheets, super comfortable mattress, a wide shelf to put things on, a lamp, and a fan - all of these little things made me sink in and have an incredible sleep. When it comes to hostels, there's a level of trust with the people in the room with you regarding your things, respect for each other's space, and a feeling of safety and I felt very comfortable all around. I also love how close the beach is! It was a short and sweet walk especially with beautiful weather. Very happy that I booked with this hostel!"
