Lower Salem Hotels

"No liquid soap in the dispenser in the shower. Microwave had not been cleaned. At 1015am housekeeping tried to enter my room with key, without knocking. Not the first time this has happened. This hotel has gone downhill in the last year. I like the reasonable price, but i don't feel i get my moneys worth anymore. "

"The shower door would not close The AC unit was incredibly loud We tried to exit from a outside hallway door to the parking lot and as hard as we tried, we could not open the door The lobby clerk said it opens very hard and to just push harder- we still could not open it!"

"Appreciate the bar being open this trip. Closed a bit too early , but not a big deal. Breakfast was good. Fridge in room would have been nice to store insulin overnight. Staff friendly "

"Lobby had a foul odor like sewage and rotting garbage. Hotel was dirty and unclean. Stairwells had not been cleaned at all with sticky floors and some rust on the metal wall corners. Old rundown furniture and bed was lower at headboard than bottom. Moldy water damage smell. Pool closed. Hot tub closed. Denny's inside for food but void of customers. Moonshine bar was closed on a Saturday night. "
