Lower Normandy hotel rooms a the Relais & Chateaux

"The location of the hotel was excellent. All the amenities were within walking distance, restaurants, shops, the cathedral, the museum of the Bayeux Tapestry, and what topped it all off was the cleanliness of the town!!"

"The property is very clean. The staffs very friendly and helpful. It is a very peaceful area and you can walk around safe and beautiful. But the restaurants around there were all closed at 9pm and we had hard time to find place to eat dinner. Also the hotel forgot to send the code to us for the gate to the area and we struggled for quite of a long time to enter the gate to the hotel. "

"Overall a good stay at the Relais. We chose this hotel because we wanted to view Mont Saint Michel from our room. The view did not disappoint. The hotel does seem dated but we were told they were in the middle of renovations. We also arrived an hour early and they did not allow us to check in early. The hotel is located right next to a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel which was convenient. "

"Booked this place as a backup, just in case I couldn't make it to the ferry in time. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help bridge the language barrier. (I don't know much French, they didn't know much English). Once everything was understood, my friend and I took the keys are were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms. Coffee making facilities, air conditioning and a king size bed. There are a number of eateries and even a cinema just around the corner from the hotel and it's only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. For a last minute stay, there was nothing more I could have asked for. "
