"The room was clean and nice but small. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the comfortable bar with the fireplace roaring and pictures of the famous people who stayed at the hotel. Hugo, who was the bartender, was excellent in educating us on calvados brandy from Normandy. He also suggested Benedictine liquor, which we enjoyed. Great location for walking the town!"

"Very disappointing experience. We could not enter the hotel access zone at Mont Saint-Michel because the required code was never sent. After three calls, someone finally answered. At reception, staff said it was our responsibility to call and get the code, even though we had no signal and had to borrow a phone. Poor communication and no willingness to help. Also, there is no elevator, and we had to carry luggage upstairs. This was not mentioned when booking."
