"The staff was very attentive. We had an issue with our sink which was immediately fixed. The breakfast was as expected with enough options for us. It seems the hotel was doing some updates as the bar area was not open. The lobby area was large with space to gather. Our room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the balcony."

"I just stayed at the Ambassador Chicago the weekend before, so I went in expecting the same 4 star amenities/level of care. The employee behind the desk at check in was lovely. We went up to our room, which was very large, but not modern like the Chicago version. That night we walked home from our concert (1.6 miles from the stadium) and I was thirsty. There were not any restaurants or stores within walking distance open near the hotel at that time except for Taco Bell. We decided to go to the hotel bar. We waited 10 min to be talked to by the bartender. He did not even look at me, just told me I’d have to wait. After a few minutes another employee came to assist us, and it was obvious he was suffering from the flu or another cold because he was coughing on everything. I actually asked him if he was feeling okay because he was visibly sick, and he admitted to being under the weather. We left the bar immediately, unserved and surprised at the lack of service. As we were walking out, we heard another group of people get up, unhappy with not being served. I woke up ready to do my regular workout at the gym. The one treadmill the gym offered was out of order and the one elliptical was filthy. I decided to run outside instead. The attendant behind the podium by the door was very kind and told me the best path to go on. I came back and got coffees from the cafe (again, a lovely employee experience). Overall, our experience was okay, but not a 4 star hotel experience. "
