Our stay there was not good. First check in was very unorganized. They did not act like they knew how to check us in. Then in the middle of the night someone tried to get in our room. we paid a little extra for a room with a tub, and it was not even usable and the floors felt sticky. Every time you flushed the toilet you smelled sewage. Lastly, we went to check out the next morning, and they couldn't find it in the computer. the room key number we stayed at was showing empty in the computer. She kept asking us if we stayed there, they couldn't even find our deposit and acted like they were not going to return it. After she made a phone call and got a ref # they found it. Very unprofessional and also pretty scary

Floor could be a lot cleaner and after staying 4 days and having 32 king suites booked instead of a deal the manager literally made us leave or pay double because i had been getting deals on line he said no more prep pay cash only 175 night per room
This hotel was a part of the Radisson hotel next to it, but for whatever reason separated. Its very run down, needs some money put into it. You get what you pay for, and this place is cheap!

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Staff was friendly but the place is older and in need of some repairs
The only complaint is they have radisson amenities listed for Derby Hotel. They do not offer any breakfast or snack of any kind like it said they do. They throw a fit about the pool between the two hotels even though online it says indoor pool the derby hotel pool is outside. The only other issue is u must wear socks or shoes at all times the carpet does not look dirty but a few walks across the floor bare footed and the bottom of your feet are black black. But all in all not a bad place to stay and rates are not bad and they are pet friendly

Room wasn't even cleaned and ready by 3pm check in time. We then had to switch rooms in the evening since they only give their housekeepers TWENTY MINUTES to actually clean a room which isn't enough time at all to fully clean a room. Our first room's bathroom wasn't clean at all, there was mold on the tv remote and the TV wasn't working at all. There was still trash and stains and the floor was wet. We had the handicapped shower and the drain didn't work so the bathroom would completely flood and then flood into the outside of the bathroom whenever the shower was used. The second room we got wasn't bad at all, typical cheap hotel room, Very thin comforter on the bed so don't expect anything too crazy. You pay for what you get.
Also there is goose poop everywhere.
The bathroom was not clean at all. Tub was filthy. Stains all the sheets. Was supposed to be two queen bed suite and we got full size beds not nowhere near a suite! Most horrible experience! Will never be back
Bathroom was filthy and smelled like pee. Toilet seat was broken. Main reason we booked hotel was for pool and it was totally green and no body would get in it. Steps to get up to room were filthy also with cigarette buts everywhere. Didnt even stay because the room smelled so bad. Had my 12 year old daughter with us. She was scared and upset about pool and condition of room. Full refund would be nice. Pictures and reviews on your sight are for the Radisson that sits infront of derby hotel.
There was only 1 pic on the Expedia site of the hotel. I saw more pictures on Google maps . When we arrived at the nice Hotel we were told the hotel has been split into 2 separate hotels. The nice one in the pictures and the Derby Hotel around back. This hotel is not maintained. There was a hole in the floor in our room that seemed to be just covered with vinyl flooring. The bathroom was dirty. There are steep concrete stairs to enter the hotel. From the vehicles in the parking lot it looked like construction and work companies use this hotel. We will not stay here again.
The staff was friendly. The room was clean. We liked that there were 2 chairs to sit in, refrigerator was nice and cold and it was quiet on the 3rd floor. The TV didn’t work but staff helped us move to the room next to us when they couldn’t fix the one in our original room. We will book it again.
Disappointing. Tv was messed up with a vertical line on the screen. Luckily my wife and I sleep in the same bed because the second bed was beyond acceptable. There were 2 permanent indents with a huge hump in the middle. While it used to be part of the Radisson, they separated it and you have to drive around to the other side of the hotel to go to the bar that’s in the same hotel. Guests were propping doors open to the outside that require a keycard. Several other guests were openly smoking marijuana outside. To get outside to the sidewalk to go for a stroll you had to go all the way down and around the corner because they built walls separating the main hotel and this one. We stayed here 2 years ago and it was mediocre but inexpensive. Now it’s just sad and beyond subpar. We won’t be back.
