"The property is beautiful and the house we stayed in were was great. Be aware, it is a car free property! You park at the main reception and then walk to your house. Depending on where you are staying, it can be a long walk! You can rent a golf cart for 50 Euro a day if you book in advance. Luckily the wonderful woman at reception found us a golf cart as my mother would not have been able to walk that distance daily. "Empty old white room. Dirty walls, dirty curtains, dirty chairs. Not comfortable door to the shower. Spa - nothing special and the stove you have to sit on doesn't heat up and remains cold. Only one socket in the bedside area. On their page written that you can take a bath and enjoy the view. No, you can’t, tulle transparent and everything visible from outside. This room was designed by famous Belgian singer, but I think it could be good invite designer and make this space more useful. Everything in a hotel was nice, but room absolutely not. Don’t cost this money at all. "

"We got a family room and we were surprised with everything that was provided in the room. You can choose to cook, there’s microwave/oven, dishwasher, even ironing board and iron. Lots of room to store our luggage. Very, very nice, clean and comfortable hotel room. The only thing that I would suggest to improve is to have a nightlight option to use the toilet in the middle of the night because the bathroom wall is a white glass and if you turn on the bathroom light it brightens the entire bedroom (not great when you have small children). Easy fix though. Besides that, breakfast was okay, we just didn’t like how crowded it was, very difficult to get the food and walk around (we were on the last corner table away from the buffet and we had to squeeze in between tables to bring our food to our table). On a next time I would try to get breakfast earlier and I believe it would be easier. We would totally go back to this hotel when staying again in Ghent. "
