"Het hotel is oud en armoedig, maar het was wel schoon. Bij heet weer is het niet te doen in de kleine hotelkamer. Wij hadden 2 kamers geboekt, omdat wij aankwamen nadat de receptie was gesloten moesten wij met een code naar binnen. Helaas kregen we met deze code maar 1 kamer toegewezen en moesten wij dus met z'n vieren in dat kleine hotelkamertje. Eén van ons is in de auto gaan slapen omdat het niet te doen was! De volgende dag telefonisch contact gehad, hier werd aangegeven dat we moesten...

"Personnel charmant, chambre très propre et fonctionnelle. Petit bémol, le côté rue bruyant avec le passage des véhicules…Choisissez une chambre coté cour si possible. La table est très correcte. Cet hôtel logis de France reste un très bon rapport qualité/prix"

Austin (the dog), chickens and the cats were very friendly and very smart :) The owners are very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. We had a perfect stay. "La chambre était impeccable et la literie confortable. L'accueil fut chaleureux, incluant une visite des lieux. Le seul inconvénient notable fut la température initiale de la chambre, qui était trop basse à mon arrivée et a mis du temps à se stabiliser. Une fois la température adéquate atteinte, l'expérience fut irréprochable. Bien qu'il n'y ait pas de télévision dans la chambre, mais uniquement dans l'espace commun, mon séjour fut agréable."

"Very quiet environment, b&b with seperate entrance for guests and 2 double bedrooms with each a private bathroom tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, spaciuous shower. On a lower level towards the garden and private parking you find a little kitchen where breakfast will be served. Very friendly & helpful owner, spotless clean, great comfort. Many restaurants within 10 min drive in St.Avold. Highly recommended."

"Logistically great! Accommodated very late arrival, all in English, coordinated via WatsApp without an issue, hotel in a nice location, local historical building. Definitely come here if you want the traditional Alsace experience. Easy parking in front of hotel. Room looked like new although the building is hundreds years old."
