"This is not an old or beautiful hotel, but its location at the edge of town means a 10min walk to the station, 25min into town centre (uphill returning!), and lovely rural views from the beer garden, or from your room if the large windows face in that direction.
My room was modern and spacious in the American style. Breakfast is very good, other food is decent basic pub fare.
What stands out is how extremely well run this place is, the staff are fabulously professional and friendly. Did pub quiz Sunday night, had a blast; staff went out of their way to ask quiz regulars whether I could join their team."

"We were recommended this hotel from friends and it did not disappoint.
The hotel was immaculate, the staff are super friendly and helpful and will go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable.
Pool, sauna and steam room are a huge added win.
Views are spectacular, literally a stones throw from the beach. Breakfast was tasty and the unlimited mimosas is a nice added touch.
We ate in the bar - the double wagu burger was delicious and with a huge variety of cocktails and drinks available, it really did make a good evening of bliss and relaxation.
We have already booked to come back"

"Very bad hotel, most of the things in the reception and lobby are broken. Carpets are really dirty, I mean this hotel and its room and carpets will redefine the meaning of unhygienic and filthy.
The rooms are so smelly. We had to request for change of room and second room was equally smelly and dirty."
