We know this hotel well and they know us.Wonderful situation next to the main north-south motorway in Hervas.The staff are fantastic and will do anything to help their guests. "The owners were exceptionally polite. The beds were so very comfortable. The bar and restaurant were terrific. We felt very welcome. There was a little language barrier but using translator with them worked perfectly. We wanted to see the real parts of Spain, this was the adventure we wanted. I recommend renting car and travel the differ cities. This hotel is definitely a 10."

"awful place. We ended up here because accommodation in Cuacos was sold out. In hindsight we should have continued on to Plasencia. Room above a bar. When we stayed here the bar was closed, not sure if that was good or bad, as it meant no food (hardly anywhere in town) but also no noise. Room is very basic and not clean at all!"

"With the exception of an issue with breakfast (which should have been included FOC but we were charged for it at checkout; at the time of writing this is under investigation by Hotels.com), we could not fault the location, the property or its management. It is wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very very minor point but there was no plugs for the kitchen sink - we did enquire but were told there weren't any."

"Disappointed to arrive and find the restaurant not open in the evening or the next day, so no breakfast. It's marketed as a rural hotel so there should be some provision for guests, even on a Monday. Overall this felt like poor value for money. "
