The room was spacious and very clean, and the location of the hotel is just a short walk from the old town. "Good big rooms plenty of space . On street parking was a nightmare so paid €12 per night for hotel parking . Also the gym have classes so the noise level goes through the roof . I’m mean you can hear the music everywhere on the hotel so some nights difficult to sleep and some morning the noise wakens you ."

"Rooms were well presented. Only problem we had with room is that if you left any food out on counter, this would be attacked by tiny insects. Adults pool was good by closed earlier than advertised on signage. Bar by restaurant and pool had limited stock of drinks due to becoming end of the season."

"Nice hotel in a good location, lots of history. Parts of the hotel and rooms require maintenance and updating. Food was good, we had an evening meal and breakfast and choices and quality were pretty good. Overall the hotel is clinging on to 4* status but but still good value for money. We found the staff in every part of the hotel to be polite and friendly and professional."
