"Free breakfast every morning. Staff are super polite and professional. I almost don’t want to give a review because it feels like this place is a best kept secret. It’s an older property but I think that is what gives it charm. It’s the only hotel right on the beach in downtown Loreto. Can walk to everything from the hotel. I absolutely loved my solo vacation here. Speaking Spanish is helpful it’s a very local old school type hotel. Back in the 1980’s it was the “place to be” it’s older but clean and comfortable. The restaurant also has excellent food! There are paddle boards and kayaks and the on site bar has two pool tables. Live music and clam bakes on Saturday nights. I will be back. "

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was in Loretto for a conference, and I needed a place that was quiet, Zen, and close to the venue. Located just off a historic and picturesque square with places to eat all around. I had an upstairs room. It was very nice - large bed, low-key local decor, places to put your stuff. Temperature control was great and quiet, with a remote-controlled AC and a large ceiling fan. Breakfast made to order on request. Has a nice small pool that I didn't have the opportunity to use. For whatever reason, the other guests there during my stay were also quite chill. I think that may just be the Loreto vibe. In sum, highly recommend."

"Room was unclean. I step on sharp staples and hurt my foot. A hard plastic with sharp staples was loose from the bottom of bed and I was walking bare feet and stepped on the staples and cut my foot. I was bleeding a little. I applied my own self care. Also, I requested the patio to be cleaned and dusted but it was not done. Staff was unmotivated"
