"Coffee maker didn’t work in rm 229. Refrigerator didn’t work either. Opened the frig to turn it on and it was filthy and looked like an animal turd was in there, smelt horrible as well. But you get what you pay. "

"Old building that needs a better quality renovation. You can see the different paint colors where the walls and ceilings are patched. The AC was adequate but old and loud. The staff was very nice and everything was clean. "

"The hotel is very tired. Our bathroom had a leak around the commode. The tub looked terrible. Had an excellent breakfast and very nice and accommodating staff. We have stayed at other Elegante properties and this was the worst. For what we paid. We could not recommend this property."

"Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Location is great for Texas Tech visits as well as easy access for traveling around Lubbock. Property is a bit dated but our towels were fluffy fresh. We stayed at the Overton during spring graduation so room pricing was quite inflated. Would stay there again if visiting Lubbock. "

"I reserved a King Suite. I was given a regular King room. I was told by the young man at the desk that they didn't have that kind of room. Iasked several times to clairfy his meaning. He just kept saying they didn't have that type of room. He told me I could check out and go someplace else or stay in the room he gave me. It was late and had been a long day, and I still had work to do. The bed was not comfortable and the desk chair was hard. I needed to do work from my room and participate in a zoom meeting the next morning. The room was not conducive for what I needed on this trip. I will never stay in this place again. "

"This appears to be a newer property and overall I had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The hotel felt fresh and updated, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Everything in the room was in good working order, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again."

"I never complain about these situations, as an adult we can power through. And it is my fault for allowing my 1 yr old to walk the room without inspecting it first. But, my 1 yr old came up to me with a used Q Tip in his mouth from the previous guests. The corner he found it in, extremely dirty. As an adult I’d let it go, but my baby having a used Q Tip in his mouth because staff did not clean properly, completely unacceptable. Pictures taken, and included."

"This was the most horrible thing I’ve ever had at a hotel. The room was not ready when arrived at 10 PM. One of the staff from the front desk was cleaning the room in a rush. The sheets were all wrinkled on both beds and all the pillows were thrown on one, and that was the way that was said to be the room was ready. The bathroom was still dirty from such a quick cleanup. The towels were quickly folded up and not in any kind of decent order They brought our extra blankets and pillows, rolled up in a ball and said they just got them out of the dryer and that’s why they were not folded The room was dusty and dirty, like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time The staff called our room and knocked on our door at 11:30 PM at night Then speaking to the manager, he was extremely rude about how horrible our stay was and did not do anything to help us in any fashion"
