Check-out was smooth. They were able to break some larger bills for me at the front desk for tipping on the cruise ship. We took the walking path rather than using a ride share. It is mostly a beautiful paved sidewalk along the water and others were doing the same. There are some parking lots to cross. It was doable. Realistic expectations: the sofa bed is a sofa bed. It's not anything to rave about, but works for one night. There is not a lot of shopping on this side of the bridge or restaurants that deliver nearby if you have no vehicle. You can have food delivered for a fee. I would book Residence Inn again if we do another Long Beach cruise. "
