"I booked this trip for my birthday with my boyfriend and was able to bring our cat with us, as our room was pet-friendly. We had such a nice time! The room was rustic and warm and inviting, the jacuzzi tub was excellent (i saw another commenter say that they didn’t get enough hot water to fill the tub—my tub filled up waaaay too hot and i had to wait like an hour for it to cool down!), the bed was so comfortable, and the proximity to the beach couldn’t be better. our room was clean, and the staff was all so nice and helpful. we loved the free tasting at the distillery, and ended up buying a couple of bottles to bring home from our trip. we stayed at one of the adult-only studio rooms in the 3-unit building of the inn. it was so peaceful, we will definitely be back! "
"We brought our dogs and they made sure we were on the first floor and conviently right next to an exit door. The breakfast is also great and clean with fantastic views of the river. The staff is welcoming friendly and we’re gracious enough to read our comment ( we booked a double queen river view but I wanted a king bed with fireplace and river view and was able to be accommodated even with our dogs!!) this is the only place we stay when we go to Astoria it’s my fav every time is excellent "
"Everything was clean...BUT the bed would squeeze just to touch it! It needs to be on a platform , the mattress was fine, its the box springs! The chair was old, dirty, when you go to sit on it, it sank very uncomfortable. We actually switched room the following day, the bed was a little better but the chair was horrible again."
"Easy late checkin process, very clean, all basic amenities included, comfy bed & linens, ocean view is very limited, but we were aware beforehand, great access to food & activities, property is at the beach access point for driving on the beach, overall quiet, we saw wildlife like deer & raccoons around the property, we had a King room & it was very spacious, great chairs for movie viewing rather than the bed, we will stay again!"
"Staff were nice , courteous, beautiful beach view, and courtesy breakfast. There was no warm water to take shower otherwise it was a good stay, thank you."
"Over priced pokey room with windows overlooked by a chain link fence and footpath, so the curtains had to be kept drawn. Not enough bedding, one blanket, a thin spread and 3 pillows for 2 people. Heater in the closet to be used if it got cold. It got cold but the noise of the heater would disturb sleep, so wasn’t used. I had to put towels on the bed for warmth and put on sweats. However the room was very clean and nicely decorated. The 2nd floor must have wooden floors too because clip clopping feet could be heard. A disappointing stay. "
