"I really needed a room change , there were three of us and the beds were not big enough, the staff were abrupt and did not really try to accommodate us so that there were three beds for us to use or even a rollaway bed, the rooms are very tiny and there is no place to sit down in the room only a couple of chairs outside, there is no refrigerator , so no ability to keep drinks cold. My recommendation is to stay someplace else and visit. I had booked it for 4 nights and no refund was given, we left the next morning "

"Absolutely beautiful property & clean. If you want quaint, quiet smaller Bungalows this place is Perfect. Staff doesn’t bother you & close to the things we wanted to do."

"Great older resort located on the outskirts of La Fortuna. Needs some upkeep on the roofs and some of the siding, we could see outside through the cracks in our closet. But, great pool, hot springs, dining on site."

"Our room lacked a tv and ac but we did not miss it as we were out and about most of the time."

"Room and property are beautiful. They offer breakfast but wasn't able to try it due to our scheduling didn't coordinate with their 7am start time. That is one thing I would change is maybe have breakfast start at 6 for people going on tours so they can eat first. They did provide one day a to go box the night before with sandwich and fruit which was nice. The pool and hot tub were relaxing and they have a .25 mile hike thru woods on their property that is awesome. The view of volcano was exceptional."
