"Amazing experience, definitely worth living once ! The cabin is well kept and surprisingly spacious ! The view is amazing, you have to get up early to watch the sunrise. We also recommend you take the breakfast, it was great and generous. Great location to hike during the day on the Velika Planina, and do try all the restaurant you cross ! No real need to bring food, and they got you covered with different items you may wish in the cabin (chips, wine, chocolate, pasta, cheese..) at fair price."

"Our stay at Hotel Blue Mare was wonderful. Our room had a beautiful view of the harbor in Novigrad. The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous during our stay. The breakfast in the morning was also wonderful with many delicious options. We hope to stay here again the next time we are in Istria."

"The grounds are beautiful, and as everyone on here seems to agree - breakfast was incredible! We went straight from checkout to a grueling three day hut-hut hike so appreciated the nourishment provided. The nearby location to the airport was crucial as our flight was delayed and arrived quite late at night. We had a bit of trouble finding the parking lot in the dark, google maps steered us wrong! But after driving around a bit we got right in. Reception had closed but provided us easy instructions for checking in, and were extremely communicative and helpful prior to our arrival. You would never know it's only a five minute drive from baggage claim, the property is so charming. Would love to have spent more than twelve hours at this wonderful place. Thank you!"

"Very nice and cozy place. Wonderful breakfast and great hiking nearby. For a family of 4, the room was a bit crammed, but beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We weee there the last week in June and the room doesn’t have AC or a fan. One night was particularly warm even with the windows open. But the beauty of this place was spectacular!."

"Beautiful property with a lovely blend of "old" and "new" ambiance/decor. Gorgeous wood bannisters and other wood touches that appear to be old/original with what appears to be newer tile, room numbers, etc. which compliment each other wonderfully. Appreciated the shelf inside the shower for my own shampoo, an outlet in the bathroom, and similar updates while keeping the charm of the building. Room and purblic areas were exceptionally clean. The gentleman who checked me in was very helpful with local restaurant recommendations and answered questions I had about driving laws in Slovenia."
