"Don't worry about the road condition (a bit pot holed and worn) or the slightly difficult to find hotel entrance, the stay was great. The room was large and immaculately clean. Though our limited Italian caused a few laughable glitches (or fault not the staff), the service could not have been better. The food was excellent and overly abundant. "We had a splendid time during our two-night stay. Wished we stayed longer. Giardino dei Trulli Tenute was a perfect place for us after a long day of going around Matera, Alberobello and Bari Vecchia.
The cosy trullo where we stayed is situated within the farm that gave us a genuine experience of its fascinating history.
Breakfast was included. It was in a two thousand year old structure that used to be a barn. It was really beautiful!

"Beautiful location. The Trullos are unique. Sleeping under a dome is very relaxing.
The bedrooms could do with more shelving. Had to leave clothes in luggages on the floor.
In the off season, each individual Trullo pool is unheated. I was still able to swim my laps in 20 degrees water. Quite invigorating! Others might not venture at this temperature.
The daily included breakfasts were delicious and very healthy.
A car is essential as this is true Puglia country living. Expect drive at least...
