"The hotel was clean, and pretty empty which was nice. The fridge in the room was a nice size. Staff was friendly and always present. The bathroom door of our room was a sliding door that would not close all the way which was unfortunate but not the end of the world. Didn’t explore breakfast but the lobby was quite small so I don’t imagine there was much. The area around is nothing fantastic, Lockport doesn’t have too much to do. Close ish proximity to Buffalo and Niagara Falls though. "

"Our stay at Asa Ransom House was absolutely delightful. The proprietor, Bradly McCallum, was charming, solicitous, and fulfilled any requests we had for service promptly and completely. Breakfast was included and the food was excellent and presented beautifully. We felt very much at home and plan to stay there every time that we are in the Clarence, NY area. There is a small, historical park within a quarter of a mile and Niagara Falls is just an hour away. I walked every morning and saw deer...

"Hotel is a throw back to the good old days and is super cute. Room was clean and comfortable, could have used a chair in the room, also didn’t have a blow dryer ( will remember for next time). They are in the middle of remodeling but didn’t bother us. We will definitely come back the next time we are in Buffalo."
