"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. "The hot tub trailer that we had was beautiful. We had an amazing dinner in the restaurant after our arrival.We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening, the rain hitting the metal roof was so relaxing. The bed was incredibly comfortable.The experience start to finish was wonderful and we will definitely come back for a longer duration next time."

"Received a warm welcome when we arrived and were directed to our room. We stayed in one of the Suites which are in a separate building from the pub, with outside steps leading down to the pub. The car can be taken up a steep slope where there is dedicated parking for each Suite room. We enjoyed a lovely cooked breakfast each morning, which was consistently delicious for the 3 days of our stay. Pre-booking is advisable for evening meals, and these were always lovely. Our Suite room was huge with a sofa (can be turned into a bed and would be ideal for a family) chair, dressing table, plenty of storage space, drawers and hanging. Lots of plug sockets. TV, tea and coffee making plus a fridge. It was cool weather during our stay and the bathroom had a heated floor which was welcome. Large walk in shower plus separate bath. Lots of windows so the place is bright and airy. Balcony with table and chairs with wonderful views overlooking the Estuary. Comfortable bed."

"Great location in Barmouth and useful to have a free car park within easy walking distance. Our room appeared to be recently decorated to a high standard with some nice touches like good quality coffee and water supplied. Just to beware that our room was on the top floor and required us to walk up a few flights of stairs although we were offered help with luggage. The main negative for us was the breakfast. Although beautifully served, the quality of some of the items let the main breakfast down. Overall was an enjoyable stay."
