"The beach view was AWESOME. Deck was gorgeous. Staff was super nice. Parking was easy. Our neighbors the first two nights was super loud and kinda wild, and the walls are thin, but a manager offered to give us a different room, which was extremely nice. We wound up staying, and they chilled out, ultimately. We were able to bring our dog, it was a super easy walk to the boardwalk, and you basically fall out onto the beach. We’ll absolutely be back! 💕"

"Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub was extremely crowded however it was Spring Break for a lot of people. We love how everything we needed was within walking distance. "

"Parking slots in the outside lot were poorly designed. Way too narrow. Room’s patio screen door was falling off the track, and the sliding glass door lock needs repair. Pocket door to bathroom very hard to open and close, probably because of the multiple paint coats. Microwave didn’t have power to it (circuit breaker?) the first morning when trying to use it for breakfast. Maybe there could be a checklist to make sure things are ready for guests. Staff was excellent, answering all questions, and were very personable. Responded promptly to broken microwave problem, and got it taken care of within a couple of hours. Staff that drove golf carts were prompt, safe drivers, and answered many questions. Talked to a very helpful lady in one of the shops and she went out of her way to show me how to get to the path to the beach. Pool was very nice. Saw many kids there along with ours. We had to bring a Pack-N-Play due to no cribs offered. "

"The room looked clean but there was a weird smell to it. I can't pinpoint what it was. Staff is very nice. You can tell that it's an old building. Overall it's good for the price you pay and it's close to the Boardwalk "

"The location is the best part of this hotel. Across the street from the beach & boardwalk & walkable distance to the wharf. If you just want a room to crash in after a long day, this is your place. If you want to a place to feel like you’re a special guest, not it! Very basic, no extras, parking is challenging & $25 per day. Front desk is minimally staffed. I will not stay here again."

"No free breakfast. Every thing else was nice we enjoyed our stay. Room were nice and clean. I enjoyed the shower and body wash. The room was big. Iam definitely coming back in the future."

"Parking was excellent -- under the building, so access to the lobby was very easy. Staff was very friendly, check-in and check-out very easy. The room was simple but very modern and clean. And quiet! So I got a good night's sleep."

"Was debating between giving it a 2 star or a 3 star but had to give it a two. It wasn't all that clean. The tub was dirty, there was stuff on the shower curtain, hair all around in the floor and one long one in the towel, there was a big hole punched into the wall in the bathroom and there was no vent fan so every-time you take a shower the entire hotel room gets “moist.” The TV disconnected the last day we were there for some reason. Also, THERE IS NO MICROWAVE! Usually a deal breaker for me, but if you’re thinking to use the mini fridge and then warm something up some leftovers, you can’t. One of the beds was slanted which made sleeping a bit difficult. The rooms are totally not sound proof as we could hear our neighbors’ nighttime activities. I will say however that they have live music all weekend at the bar there and you can’t hear it from the room unless you open the window. They have a little “store” for basic goods, but the hours weren’t reliable. Went there after 9am on a Monday and the doors were locked and no one was in the office either though someone was seen walking around the side of the building, but not sure if this was a staff person or not. All in all, I gave this a 2 star because it is historic and you can stay here without high expectations. I wouldn’t stay here again though. Might come by in the future to eat at the diner and check out the Brook Room if it, the pool, and the mermaid room ever finish getting renovated to check them out too."
