"This hotel has amazing potential - but it needs significant work on the basic conditions. It is over 100 years old and in need of a full restoration of all basic infrastructure and all new FF&E. It is not appropriately priced for the condition. I for one, would love to be a GM of the restoration and see what would be possible. "

"Quaint and nice location but very outdated. Still has a DVD player, for example, that one has to get from the front desk, which has limited hours. The breakfast is really minimal as well--a few granola bars or grocery store bagels that you have to order the night before??"

"Ultra comfy bed, but odd shower with low water pressure and not-quite hot water. Very noisy people upstairs. Weird virtual check-in, difficult to understand the very thick accent, but he was helpful enough."

"Everything was clean but the microwave smell so bad like a rotten meat. We practically have to clean and sanitize it first before we can use it and have to open the window to let the smell out. "We had the best room for my husband that needed a lower floor with easy walking access. The staff was exceptional. Breakfast choices were everything we needed and the area was spotless. This is our second visit here and we will be back again. "
