"Husband and I stayed at motel for two nights. Close to city centre & beachfront. Easy walk into shopping centre. Microwave, kettle, toaster very clean. All amenities needed for stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. "

"Wonderful over night stay with a group of friends . We began with a delightful late lunch in the mansion cafe . Followed this with a stroll through the beautiful grounds and gardens, touring the original mansion ( free for hotel guests) and finally relaxing in the heated magnesium pool completed our afternoon . Our dinner began with complementary drinks Im the hotel bar before moving to Joseph’s restaurant for a five star dinner . I must give a huge compliment to Jai our young waiter who was so delightful and helpful . Dinner was excellent and certainly up to the standard you would expect . With dinner completed we moved on for a game of pool on the full sized table located in an upstairs lounge area . As we are a group of 70 year old ladies this proved interesting and a very slow game !!! A few fell asleep prior to completing the game however a lot of fun was had by all … Next morning we indulged in a lovely buffet style breakfast ( included in the booking ) . We checked out by 10 am and headed to a very fun day at the Werribee Zoo . I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel for any special occasion although we would probably stay at least two nights next time ."

"We liked the presentation of the property and convenience of location. What wasn’t so good was the food offerings. There was no option for something small at breakfast. You had two choices, a full or a continental breakfast. Also we booked a cab and the receptionist told us to sit down away from the entry and he would tell us when the taxi arrived. After a long wait we asked where the taxi was and he said it had been taken by someone else. He ordered another but it was then a mad rush to catch our train."

"The bathroom was clean but behind the couch had not been cleaned at all and dusty room. The guest book hadn't been checked. A broken light above the bed. In saying all that I would definitely stay again for the convenience to the city centre."
