"Staying at Idle awhile cliff is a great stay, however be aware of the very idle vibe. Things are extremely relaxed. Most people go out for dinner in the evenings, so staff is normally gone by 7pm on the dot. This property has so much potential but I am afraid it’s a tad bit neglected because it is the smaller of the 3 properties. The concept of the room is amazing. "Property was clean and staff was very attentive . There was obviously damage from hurricane, but resort was trying it's best to rebuild. Pool area was immaculate! Buffet times were great, but alot of the same items everyday. El Dorado steaks were amazing!"

"The food was amazing! 10/10! Everything else was just ok. Drinks weren’t very good. The staff wasn’t overly helpful either. I thought it was really weird you couldn’t find anywhere to get food after breakfast until noon & that’s if they opened on time. Bars opened at 10am or later & there was no ice cream before noon either. Overall- it was just ok. The power went out serval times but they were typically quick getting it back on."

"Nothing was liked and nothing was good about this resort. Our family left the resort after 1 day due to the lack of hospitality and quality of anything on the resort. Also they did everything in their power to add additional fees room change, keeping room close together all normal request that we requested prior to check in but I would NEVER EVER visit this resort again. Supposedly we are supposed to get refunded but I highly doubt they will complete the refund process. STAY AWAY or visit at your own risk!"

"We had a premium package w/ swim up pool. There was nothing extra nor special about this package. Also just FYI , their premium liquor is just Rum. Most of the staff is rude and unfriendly. Our bartender Alshane was the greatest employee there. He was super friendly, polite and caring. The ladies on the beach for volleyball and dancing also had great spirits, the ladies at the restaurant and buffet had bad attitudes. Room service took 3 hours and then my burger was under cooked"

"I honestly do not understand the hype behind this place. For the amount you pay here — easily $100–150 per person depending on drinks and appetizers — the experience was shockingly bad from start to finish. I’ve genuinely received better customer service from Chick-fil-A and even McDonald’s. The service was one of the worst parts. Our salad came out completely dry with no dressing, and after trying multiple times to get someone’s attention, the staff either ignored us or acted annoyed that we were asking for basic things. It felt like once they dropped the food off, we no longer existed. Water glasses stayed empty, dirty plates sat on the table forever, and nobody checked on us. For a restaurant charging premium prices, you expect professionalism, attention to detail, and at least decent hospitality. Instead, the staff seemed disorganized, uninterested, and completely disconnected from the dining experience. The food itself was mediocre at best and definitely not worth the price point. I don’t mind paying for expensive meals when the quality and service match the cost, but this felt like paying luxury prices for fast-food level service — except somehow slower and less attentive. Extremely disappointing experience overall, and unfortunately not somewhere I would recommend or return to."
