"Judging from the bathroom fixtures, out room appears to have been designed and built in the 1970s. Even so, it has been updated the room is surprisingly large and the shower amazingly small. The air new conditioning unit worked very well. Rooms at the south end of our building are accessed by over 50 stairs but the other end is totally ADA accessible. The hot springs pool is very popular. Meal service only at the golf course. The setting is a verdant, quiet ravine. The drive from Portland, WA14, is a relaxing and scenic ramble along the north edge of the Columbia River. The bakery at White Salmon is worth the 25-mile drive."

"I absolutely loved my stay! This was my first solo self-care trip and this was the perfect location and only an hour from Portland! I stayed in the Studio Room and enjoyed the small digs and the provided ear plugs. The soaking pool was clean and relaxing, massage therapist professional, hotel staff kind and helpful, and I found several spots I could relax, read, and enjoy the beauty of the location. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Great place to stay !! Super nice staff, central Location & great coffee. We were there for kiteboarding & not disappointed!! Lots of great places to eat & breweries!! Hood River is an awesome place !! Trains do go by often but only added to the charm for me.. just wear ear plugs if you’re a lite sleeper."
