"From check in to check out, the service provided was excellent. The staff were ever helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The food options ranged from exceptional restaurant to bar snacks, all of which were delicious. The ‘sports facilities’ were limited but more than adequate. Lovely walk around the estate. "We got what we asked for. All good except the bar was closed at 22:30 and the instructions in the room said it closed at 23:00. This was a minor irritation. Everything else was as expected."

"Was a nice hotel for the money, but don't expect super high end luxury. Paid for an upgraded room to have bath robes (had to ask for them) and Elemis toiertries (got handsoap and shampoo). The room was clean, although looking tired in places. For the money, I can't fault it, but as mentioned, don't expect a luxury spa experience. The gym, spa and pool are in another building, so not really the type of place you walk around in your slippers and robe (unless your comfortable walking through the carpark). The front of the building and reception areas do look grand, but you find the rear of the property to be a modern (guess 1960's) extension that sits awkwardly in the hotels grounds. Bonus points for being dog friendly!"
