"Our stay at the Victorian by the Sea was truly dreamy and our favorite part of our visit to Maine. Patrik and Becky (the new owners) have mastered preserving the charm of the property, while still curating a boutique experience with very thoughtful and intentional updates. From the record collection, to the idyllic grounds (inside and out), board games, wine collection, and perfectly homemade breakfasts, it was just so cozy and perfect that we could have spent our whole trip on the property. A special thanks to Patrik for being so warm and welcoming, and making us feel more like old friends than guests passing by. Truly a hidden gem- can’t wait to visit again!"

"The owner greeted us and showed us personally around. The property is lovely and we enjoyed our overnight stay. The room we had did not have a tv and o hadn’t noticed that in the description so that was my fault. We also ran out of hot water with two of us taking a shower. But there were no vacancies so there might have been heavy consumption of water in the morning. Overall we liked our stay and would return if we are in the area."

"The Spouter Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast overlooking the ocean. The rooms are quiet and beautifully appointed. The breakfast and daily cookies are superb. It was a pleasure for us to stay in such an idyllic setting, with such a friendly staff and excellent amenities. We highly recommend it!"
