"The staff were patient and very friendly . They helped when we needed tricycles and taxis , and helped arrange out boat tour . The grounds were beautiful .. the pool and restaurant and beach were well kept and we really enjoyed swimming in the pool and the beach . It’s within walking distances to restaurants along the beach. This was gorgeous at sunset . The one downside is that the room balcony was very shady and dark and so the interior of the tom was dark . And room was not well lit so we found it hard to pack suitcases at night.. we also needed more surfaces and table space . We got room service a couple of times and there was nowhere in the room to put the tray and the food. "
"We loved our stay at Lawka! The location in Lio was great and being in the Kayle Artisano complex gave us access to some fun shops and restaurants. The room was very accommodating and modern. The staff was helpful and having a scooter included with the room is a huge plus. Also a huge shoutout to the Lawka coffee shop. Some of the best coffee we had during our trip and it was super practical to be able to grab a quick bite while checking out. A free coffee per day was included for each guest and was a really nice touch! "
"amazing staff, amazing villa and the decor inside and amazing food and their presentation. everything was just so well thought out - i'm truly amazed"
"Staff especially Lhynne was wonderful but overall amenities and property management including food options is very poor. New Year’s Eve event was horrible, most of the things promised didn’t happen & food left a lot to desire for. Overall not a world class 3 star resort even. The staff however are polite and tried their best to provide a good experience but they are constrained by the amenities & what’s available for them to do. Overpriced for a resort of this quality. "
"Casa Vina is tucked into the Barangay, Bucana, in the fisherman’s town - about a 40 minute drive from El Nido airport. Upon arrival I was immediately met by the hosts and luckily during my visit, Ramil was also visiting. I was shown the property including breakfast loft and my room. The room itself is cozy with AC and a TV. The daily breakfast is served on the upper deck and can be provided with an adjusted timeline. The family hangs out in the morning awaiting a glimmer of light from your room and spring into action to get breakfast together for you. The grounds are just a few steps from the ocean bay where local children playfully frolic. I’m forever indebted to Ramil and the Gutierrez Family for hosting me. They helped me secure transportation to multiple destinations (thanks Mon-Mon) and even helped me book the island hopping tours. They are respectful of your privacy. I would love to stay here again in the future."
"I booked 7 standard triple rooms for two with two separate beds yet you gave only 6 rooms rooms with only one bed. I send an email to clear about it because my payment is too much for what was given for accommodation but no response.
The website cover for the resort is deceiving showing the picture of the beach claiming its near the beach front but the real location is very far with narrow and muddy alley.
The breakfast they serve is only bead and egg which when you are booking saying breakfast included hut they really accept paluto because noone will like tye food they serve for breakfast. With a very expensive rate this resort is beyond what you would expect
I am a Travel and Tours company and the guest who stayed are my clients. I was bombarded with complaints and this is unacceptable. Be careful with this kind of resort. "
