"Great little hotel if you're looking for somewhere affordable to stay near Heraklion airport. You are not downtown at all, but there is a more commercial street close by (few minutes by foot) with restaurants, and a few basic necessity shops. Great pool and patio, quiet, basically residential neighbourhood, super nice staff (hello Maria!) and, as mentioned, about 5 minutes by taxi from the airport (be prepared to hear planes take-off, but rooms are very well sound insulated)."

"We have just returned from an incredible stay at Creta Maris. The rooms, grounds and whole resort are immaculate. Even though it is a large resort the layout is more of a traditional pretty Greek village with pools, restaurants etc dotted around so it always felt relaxed and never overcrowded. The all inclusive is fantastic value for money with amazing restaurants and a good selection of drinks and snacks available throughout the day. The food at the a la carte restaurants especially was...

"Great patio overlooking the water at King Scorpio.That was where the four star rating should end and was also a real problem for noise it created going past 2am while right next door.Food was good although monotonous.Would have appreciated pita bread.Snack bar was mislabeled as a different name.Also served third grade meat in the gyros with plenty of fat and no vegetables.(a real shame for greek pride).All the other non greek foods were good however atbthis snack bar."
