"Great hotel and especially great staff. Locally owned and you can tell. I was a little worried about it being a little outside the city but transportation was a non-issue. We liked to walk so we could walk into the city but there is a bus stop across from the hotel and buses ran ever 10 minutes. There are only 4 metro lines in Stockholm so very easy to get around. You just swipe your credit card when you get on the first mode of transporation and you have 90 minutes to use any form of transportation after that for no additional charge. Very easy!"

"The promo for this hotel on Expedia was very misleading. We wanted to stay on or near Vaxholm. This hotel ad claims to be right near Vaxholm but it is nowhere near it, unless maybe you have private transportation We paid for the room at a non refundable rate . It is hard to get to Vaxholm from this hotel without a car. We therefore could not stay at the hotel. In fact, we immediately realized that as soon as we made the reservation and called the hotel and contacted Expedia but Expedia said the hotel will not refund the reservation money,.even though we explained the problem within minutes of making the reservation. Beware."

"Door to balcony didn’t properly close, no one came to take rubbish or replenish toilet paper, towels etc. no one was at the front desk. The shower and sink drips. Breakfast was nice. It would be a fine place to stay for 1-2 nights but no longer than that"
