"When I pulled up at the hotel it looked as if it had closed down. The sign at the front was all battered and there were roadworks type barriers at the front of the property. It turned out that there is some rework going on that gave that impression. Anyhow, check- in was smooth, Bruno was on reception and also a very good barman. We had a room on the 2nd floor which was ok, there was a lift but on exiting the lift, there was a small flight of stairs to the rooms so anyone with mobility issues need to be aware. The one thing that really struck me was how dirty the carpets were in the hallways. They were modern style carpets but were covered in stains, spills and whatever else. Surely Accor hotels make enough money to get the carpets cleaned, hence why I gave the property a lower score than it deserved. There is a nice little seating area outside which looks out onto fields which was very nice and very peaceful. However, the opposite is the case if you have a room at the front. There is a busy road about 60-70 meters away that has constant traffic and is very noisy, it woke us both up a number of times. The hotel does an all you can eat buffet in the evenings between 7-9.00pm for 29eur per person which was good considering the choices available, this also included coffee, dessert, salads etc and hot choices. Breakfast was superb and a lot of choice including Eggs, sausages, bacon, crepes and waffles plus the usual choice of breads meats and cheeses."
