"A great option if you’re traveling by train, as the Lille-Flandres station is right across the street. Also within walking distance of the Grand Place and many restaurant options. The room was comfortable and clean. If you get a room at the front of the hotel, you may experience noise as there are cafes/restaurants directly below. A very good value for the money."

"The room was beautifully appointed, with the bathroom and changing area well separated from the sleeping area. The balcony gave a nice view of nearby architecture. The location of the hotel was in walking distance to the main Republic plaza, dining, and the Palais des Beaux Arts. The Citadel park, also in walking distance, served as a viewing point of the solar eclipse. Eurostar train service to London and other locations in mainland Europe was a short 20 min walk away. The buffet breakfast was excellent and I especially appreciated the water spiggets on each floor to fill up your water bottle with either plain filtered or carbonated water. The front desk was mostly helpful, although one woman could have used additional customer support training in cheerfully answering questions. The room was cooled to a comfortable temperature, a welcome respite from the outside heat wave. All in all a wonderful experience. I would return."
