"Our stay in Amarela Resort turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to Bohol. The whole place is ART. The attention to detail was astounding! The staff were all warm, friendly, and helpful. If you ever plan to stay in Amarela resort, please take the time to walk the grounds -- they have an art gallery, beautiful walkways, a library, a massage hut, a garden, an infinity pool, a magnificent view of the sunrise, etc. The surrounding area is peaceful. "We had a fantastic stay. By far the best hotel we stayed at during our month in the Philippines. The hotel has been completely renovated and only opened in November 2025. Everything is new and beautifully designed. The staff are all incredibly attentive and make sure you have an amazing stay. Since it is new, there are still a few minor points that could be improved, but nothing significant. We will definitely be coming back!"
