"We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the inn. We managed to snag an amazing deal at half the usual rate. Our 2-bedroom room was very clean - only a couple of snags were experienced. The first sleeping area had no bedside lighting and the second had no accessible mains supply! The breakfast included was excellent. The setting for the inn is fantastic - lovely area to walk around."

"Excellent stay. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived till we left. A very pet friendly hotel, the staff went out of their way to please the dogs as much as us. "Brilliant place for a short stay, we stayed 1 night and it was lovely the room was very clean and tidy the bed was comfortable there are no draws for clothes but for a short stay it didnt matter. Wish we could have stayed longer.
"Stayed for one night to break up a long drive back from Scotland, and so pleased we did. The location is wonderful, we had a lovely walk along the track just behind the building near the river. Beautiful countryside, very peaceful and interesting to see the remains of a roman bridge and Fort close-by. The room itself was excellent, and the whole place had real character, nice food at the resturant too. Finally thanks to the staff for beong friendly and welcoming, I would love to come back sometime."
