The St. Clair is a wonderful short-term rental, in a perfect location, with great amenities, a wonderful lounge with Speakeasy, and clean comfy living areas. One can walk to so many cocktail lounges, restaurants, museums, and retail shops.
Simple but elegant for our 3 night stay. Easy access to downtown restaurants, shops and bars. Secret speakeasy bar was quiet and staff was friendly. Would highly recommend.
We loved our stay and the property. The only issue was the elevator wasnt working properly. This created an issue for my husband due to limited mobilty!
Property was very clean and easily accessible. Renovation of older building was very well done. Great location as well. Highly recommend and we will be back!!
Our stay was awesome! I do wish we could have watched live TV cause I have to purchase Netflix for one night so we had something to watch. But the outside neon light outside gave such a cool glow at night time. This whole apartment had such an awesome vibe to it. Five stars for sure
Really cool place. It's an apartment, not a hotel. Spacious room with a beautiful view of the street. Attached to a bar which was convenient. It's an old building so sometimes you can hear people walking above you, but for the most part very quiet. No street noise. Parking was convenient right across the street.
We had a little trouble getting in to the room but the host was so quick to respond and fix the issue quickly. The room was so cute and comfortable. It’s located upstairs from a restaurant right in the downtown area with plenty of restaurants to walk to. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely stay here again.
No employee on site , available by text and responded fairly quickly . Wood floors amplify any noise around or above you. Very nice room with kitchen and coffee/ creamer. If you're looking for a normal hotel with employees and a front desk. This isn't for you.
Unique property in a good location with bars, restaurants and shopping close by. Only complaint is that sound proofing between floors not very good. We could hear the people in the room above us walking and moving around their room. Unfortunately it was at 2:40 in the morning so they woke us up. Otherwise very nice place.
Definitely a 4 star stay, I can’t give 5 stars only because of the process to get ready to arrive. I was told I would receive a link for ID verification but never received 24 hours prior, had to call customer service and was told I had been sent it on my Expedia account, but yet booked through hotels.com, was then told it was emailed to me, never received. Eventually had to have them text me the link which to me should’ve been the first contact not through a made up Expedia account. Other than that the place was great! Very clean, very rustic and overall enjoyable!

I was originally excited to be in the heart of downtown Frankfort what I thought was a quiet quant town. There are many restaurants and local shops in walking distance. Quiet however, far from it most of the town shuts down by 10pm but that’s when ALL the locals go to the Irish Pub located just 3 doors down from the hotel. It is so Loud it feels like you are at a concert and they don’t close till 2am. Besides it being rowdy, they are on their Motorcycle roaring up and down the street and once they all go home the trash trucks and delivery trucks show up by 7am. So if your looking for relaxing or restful do not stay here. Also make sure you pick the top floor despite the noise from outside it sounded as if we had a heard of elephant stomping above our heads as well as the pounding off a bed frame against the wall. Never been so tired on a vacation and honestly have never left a negative review before but I was just really disappointed. Way too much money for the experience and there is no staff onsite to address with your concerns. And lastly what out for false spam messages that are not from the hotel. I received a link saying my payment had not gone through and they wanted my credit card number- this maybe a Expedia Hack but either way be mindful and safe.
Nice place for sure. Clean and had all the necessary things for our stay. Slightly confusing getting in when we got there, but we figured it out. Info coming from Hotels.com was pretty good.
Texted the virtual check in number that had been texting me and they responded when I had a question which was nice. I would stay here again. Bar downstairs was pretty good and easy.
I was updated with check in information a day prior, and very detailed which helped finding the parking. Plenty of places to eat and shop nearby and sample bourbon! 1.6 miles from Buffalo Trace. The interior was quiet, secure and clean! I could smell the fabric detergent/softner on the sheets. Bathrooms were clean, bed was comfy and large smart tv. Id definitely stay here again!
This hotel was very cute and super close to buffalo trace which is where we wanted to start the bourbon trail with only being a 6 minute drive. Clean and super unique inside, made us feel super safe by providing codes for the outside door, elevator doors and for your room. We had a lovely stay and at an affordable price. Would stay again!
