Levisham Original description: Levisham Levisham is set high above the surrounding farmland. A wood runs east, west across the lower area of the square where the ruin of St Mary's church nestles.

Newtondale. The fantastic view looking down into Newtondale from the Levisham to Levisham Station road at the top of the hill. The walk from Levisham Station to the Levisham is about 1.5 miles and includes a climb of just under 400' - not very handy to catch a train! This photo was taken at MR: SE82329101 - just within the square and facing in a NNW direction.
