"Upon checking in the front desk was very nice and helpful. It went downhill from there. Beds very uncomfortable, hard. Bathroom smelled of sewer which they try to cover up with incense. It took 15 minutes for hot water to get to the shower. Breakfast place was good, we could not find it the first day. Other than that location is good, and easy to find. Based on the places I have stayed I think there are probably better options out there as this place was on the expensive side for what you receive."

"To begin with, the hotel was amazing. Not only in looks, but so many other facets as well. The architecture, the cleanliness, the service, the food from not only the restaurant but the breakfast served in the a.m, everything was just beyond expectations. The location of the actual hotel was perfect for shopping, travel, and sites to see. The train station was about a 10 min walk from the doors. A taxi service was a five minute walk in the opposite direction if you wanted to go deeper and explore more of the city. I can't say enough how convenient everything was. We had a package delivered her as well completely by happenstance and they easily accommodated us. A special place full of anything and everything you could want from a hotel. We highly recommend this location for those wanting to experience Genovese for the first time, or even the 100th."

"One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The location is excellent; about 5 minutes walk from train station and very quiet! The lobby/lounge is like stepping back in time to classy 40’s. Excellent restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Our room was lovely; comfortable bed, sheets and fabulous towels. We also had a massage when we first arrived being we had been traveling prior to Genoa and I had an excellent lymphatic drainage massage. Fantastic! Trains took us to Rapello for a boat tour to less traveled Italian Riviera villages. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!"
