"We are a family of 4 traveling through 4 countries for 2 weeks. This was our favorite! Upon checkin, Alan met us and showed us to our room. He was so friendly and welcoming. We had the family suite. It was so beautiful and comfortable! Each kid had their own twin bed, and they loved it! Windows opened to hear the seagulls and cars below, and let in the cool sea breeze. There was plenty of space to move around. The bathroom was very clean and perfect for us. We ordered the full breakfast the next morning - what a delight! Elaina was very nice and made sure we pronounced “Edinburgh” correctly before leaving, haha! This place is walkable to everything in town you’d want to see. We hope to visit again one day."

"A short overnight stay on our way to Cairnryan ferry. We arrived quite late but the kitchen was still available for dinner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was impeccable. We had to leave early for our crossing but the short stay was great. We want to come back."

"Everything was top notch from booking room to check in, friendliness of staff was excellent and the room we had was big bright very clean and excellent sea view. The bar was brilliant with plenty choice of drinks and the food was top quality. When we return to Portpatrick there’s only one place we be staying. The crown 👍"
