"I have stayed at this friendly owner run hotel 3 times now.It is well situated only 2 minutes from the quay of the old port and close to all of the main attractions of La Rochelle also convenient to call back for a rest during a sight seeing day.The hotel has been upgraded since my last visit with good quality modern decor and a new bar and breakfast area that I chose not to use.Very clean and comfortable and plenty of hot water. No faults. Recomend."

Did not like that we had to make our beds on arriving and strip beds on departure.
Lift was not working and we were not advised before arrival.
Not great if you have mobility issues "

"We had a lovely 5 day stay in quaint Il de Re. The room was lovely. The pool perfect temperature and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Very accessible to restaurants and shops and the spa is a nice reprieve after biking all day. Highly recommend this little oasis."

"un court séjour, très agréable, piscine aux horaires élargis, personnel très souriant et serviable, la clim dans les chambres serait un plus (les fenetres étaient fermées à notre arrivée d'où la chaleur la premiére nuit)
seul bémol la terrasse du bar nécessiterait un petit coup de balai( ça sent la fin de saison)
le club est au calme , accés au port à pied"
