"Amazing hotel. Came here 15 years ago and it was amazing then. Looks like they’ve upgraded. Staff are amazing, although I think they probably need more of them. Beautiful setting. Definitely come back again!"

"Nice hotel, very warm and focused on golf practice.
It’s a pity that the breakfast is very expensive, and that the spa isn’t included for the hotel guests (it’s the firs time that as guests we don’t have an hour access for free at the hotel spa)."

"We arrived in heavy rain, and the owner, brought out broken umbrellas. He initially said we couldn’t drive up to drop off bags but allowed it in the end because of the weather.
The property looked decent at first, but once inside our “best room,” the reality hit hard.
The room stank of stale, dirty odours. The bathroom smelled like awful, persistent drain fumes—not just a normal toilet smell. The kettle was filthy, and the water came out cloudy—luckily, I noticed before drinking it.
Everything was grimy and thick dust: bed, towels, furniture, even the disposable slippers looked decades old and used.
We couldn’t face staying here for even one night and checked out within hours. We booked a 5-star hotel nearby for just £100 more than we paid here—totally worth it.
The worst part? The owner ignored all our attempts to communicate—no apology, no explanation, no refund. Expedia tried to help but couldn’t secure one. This kind of customer service is shocking and unacceptable.
The charming exterior is worlds apart compared to the filthy, neglected interior. Our anniversary trip was ruined, and we had to scramble for another hotel at extra cost and stress.
Hotels don’t need to be fancy—just clean, welcoming, and responsive. This place was none of those. Avoid Manoir des Cavaliers.

"We ended up booking this hotel after missing a connecting flight, and what a surprise it turned out to be. The InterContinental Chantilly Château Mont Royal is a stunning property steeped in history and elegance. Every room showcases beautiful French architecture that feels like stepping back in time—it’s regal, refined, and full of charm. You can truly sense the 100-year legacy throughout the estate.
The staff were exceptional, living up to the high standards you’d expect from the InterContinental brand—warm, helpful, and professional. Despite the hiccup in our travel plans, this hotel turned the night into an unexpected highlight of our trip. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a blend of luxury, history, and outstanding service."
"We picked this hotel (and town) to stay one night because it was close to CDG for a next morning flight. We would now put it on our list of hotels to seek out for a longer stay - and the town is lovely. The rooms were spectacular - great beds, good baths, spacious, quiet, great climate control.
