"This hotel experience was exceptional because of the staff (thanks Pamela!) and care they took to ensure our stay was the best possible. I was there for Comic-Con and through the chaos we had a shuttle that ran every 15-20 minutes, a room with comfortable pillows and a view of the pool, reasonable parking and really great coffee. The room was fine, older but comfortable. My one complaint is the coffee was not great and no fresh half and half! But other than that, I was beyond impressed with the staff and the experience. "

Key services such as room service and valet were unavailable, the slot machines felt cramped, and the overall demeanor of the staff was noticeably downbeat. The policy against bringing outside beverages into the room was also a surprise. For the $1,000 spent, I felt the value simply wasn’t there—not even a warm welcome to soften the stay. In my view, it rates under two stars."
"The hotel spaces are amazing. The 24 hour diner might be one of the best in SoCal. The tapas restaurant was stellar, and like all things at this hotel a lot for the eye to take in. The maximalism of the hotel & rooms might be too much for some, others will find this a utopia. Also best assortment of alcohol in the mini bar was probably ever regardless of the price. Not a party hotel by any means, but definitely on the younger side/energy. Overall a great stay in a very California hotel away from the hustle & bustle of downtown or gas lamp."
