"Staff was accommodating of early checkin. Like having refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave in room. Spacious room with small couch as well as bed. Very walkable into Blowing Rock. Not fancy but good value for the price. "

"It was kind of noisy the weekend we were staying. There was a crew of construction workers outside and in the hotel who where loud. The room was kind of small, but adequate. Breakfast was okay."

"Excellent for the price. Friendly staff, great location for downtown BR and clean. It’s a little dated but that is why it’s a little cheaper I imagine. I felt totally safe as a woman traveling alone. Would definitely stay there again "

"Great place to stay in Blowing Rock, best location, walk to all!!! If you’ve been to BR you know parking is a premium! Staff is great too, can’t say enough about this Hotel. Dinners are great as well. We’ve been there before and will be there again… it’s our go to mountain escape!"

"Well I say the staff have been excellent to work with and for us they've been very helpful and very kind everyday they check and ask us however accommodations are and if they can help us with anything so as we're staying at the hotel I wouldn't recommend it to about anyone it's a great convenient place the rooms are comfortable and up to date"

"Unsafe for single women. Property, stairways and hallway carpets are very dirty and smell horrible. Room furniture is very outdated and falling apart. Bathroom fixtures broken, paint peeling, lots of holes, the only saving grace of this place is beds were comfortable, linens were soft. And the manager was great. Other front desk staff were terrible, scary and too inappropriate to female guests. Door key cards constantly locked and couldn’t get in room. Had to take multiple trips to front desk to get fixed. Room door broken and didn’t shut correctly. Had random charges from hotel no one could explain. But manager eventually fixed it. The smell of weed was strong everywhere. Cops were there often, Do not recommend"
