"We asked to see the room before check-in. The bedsheets were wrinkled and stained, we had foreign hair on the pillows and on the mattresses were strange black dots. The windows and the covers were fully stained with dead squashed insects, overall cleanliness was below any critic. Does not meet the standards of a hotel, although the price is there. We paid the rooms in advance but after seeing this biohazard situation, we left and went home , it was after check in time with no possibility to...

"Very nice hotel, close to the camp next to danubius hotel. Hotel has room where to save bikes. Biking is common around Balaton. Outside pool and wellness also perfect. Dinning was perfect, breakfast and dinner were perfect, I can recommend. More smiles from staff ;)"

"We love the location, Watching the sale boats go by was a very special treat! The room and accommodations were very nice and the staff was very helpful. The only complaint was that the air conditioner did not cool the room enough, so we had to open the door, and the light woke us up very early in the morning. I would suggest curtains which block the light so that the guests can sleep late."

"otel Aura is conveniently located within walking distance of Lake Balaton, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The dinner options were excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes to choose from. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hotel Aura and would happily return. "

There has not been one single improvement, enhancement or update since the property was built to any of the common areas the Carpet is thread bare and stained. The balcony exterior is all in terrible condition and the entire hotel requires painting, New carpet & complete updating. "Brett and Lilla are Always very happy with our stay at hotel helikon the food is always great and so is the facility’s and the pleasant staff except for one low life who yelled at me for bringing my own drink to the dining room table but since I’m rich and he is working poor I acted like an adult and let it go even though I could have ruined his life because this is the American way he’s lucky I wasn’t an evil elitist snob European other than that everything was great the man was over 45 and had grey hair so Il let him enjoy his pathetic life "

"This is very nice property located in a somewhat isolated area of Tihany. It is a very easy drive from Budapest on good highways. The resort has lots of amenities that look is definitely something out of the 1970s or 80s. But the staff was helpful, the food in the restaurant, both breakfast and dinner, was good. The prices in small bar were very reasonable. I would return again "
