"There aren’t enough words to describe the magic of this property. We arrived after 22:00 in full darkness and woke up to the sounds of birds with a gentle breeze coming through the double doors on the balcony looking out over the mountains to the Mediterranean Sea. "This is definite faded grandeur. The ground floor looks and feels beautiful but the rest of the hotel is tatty - not helped by a lack of cleaning In some of the common parts. Staff were slightly taciturn, but we went out of season and they might have been busy doing other things. The location though is fantastic and, crucially, there is a good breakfast! This hotel could be so much better with some love. As it is, it is over priced."

"Friendly staff welcomed me on arrival. I was given a good sized room which was very clean and comfortable. Used the restaurant twice with food being excellent on both occasions. Lovely location with great views. Parking a little chaotic but fine if you don’t mind parking a little away from the hotel."
