"Wonderful stay, very nice, polite and helpful staff which is quite out of the ordinary for the Netherlands where service is generally and mostly inexistent. To illustrate this, I reported a leak problem with my shower a few hours after checking in. The concierge reported it promptly but maintenance chose to ignore it and it was not fixed until the last evening of my 3-day stay and my reporting the problem 4 times… This kind of situation should never happen in a hotel of this level. Other than that I loved my stay at the Krasnapolsky"

"The hotel is ideally located next to Centraal Station. The canal boats are opposite the hotel entrance, and lovely restaurants/ bars & souvenir shops are only a short walk away. The hotel is basic but clean and bright. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Amsterdam."

"Hotel was nice and clean, in a good location and not far from a tram spot, which made getting to and from central station with our bags very easy but everything was within walking distance, the staff member that helped us check in was very pleasant and helpful, our room unfortunately had one tiny window with little to no natural light getting in and the main light in the room worked whenever it wanted too and it certainly wasn’t sound proof aswell could hear voices and knocks and bangs from maintenance work I’m assuming, overall we had good stay"
