"Hotel needs updating. We paid for a sea view room but not value for money. Needs a thorough clean. Not enough staff and a couple were rude. Don't visit if they have coach party because at breakfast although it states times coach parties are catered for first as tables are reserved for them other guests have to find a table, which we were not told about and when we asked one nember of staff how it works for tables etc..she was so rude and told us if there isn't one available we would just have to wait If you want to book for a meal at the restaurant when coach parties are there you can only have their menu. The male member of staff who was there in the evening was lovely. Glad we only stayed for 2 days. Don't think we will visit again."

"Unfortunately the area is very run down and all the local homeless and smack heads sit outside making noise throughout the night. Didn’t get any sleep. A homeless woman came into the bar and asked if I wanted to buy a diamond ring and earrings. Member of staff knew her name and started a conversation with her. No security to stop this from happening."

"Due to excessive external temperatures during my stay staff had left the windows open which was understandable in the circumstances. Unfortunately my room (215) overlooked the High Street below. From 0400 hrs the noise from heavy agricultural traffic was constant. I accept it was my choice to continue to get a circulation of air into the room however it was at the cost of being awake very early in the day. Next time would book a room facing the rear of the property. Impressive hotel 8/10"
