Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park

Hamelin Bay in South West Western Australia has the azure blue seas of the Indian Ocean at their doorstep. Logging history has left the remnants of the jetty where stingrays come to play in the shallows. Sheer cliff walks that look out to sea and beautiful sandy beaches. Go visit.

Another view of the Lake Cave showing the greater chamber and the suspended platform over the lake just to the left of centre of this photo.
The cave has a very long descent (about 40m) before you enter the cave mouth. It also has an unusual feature, a suspended table hanging over the lake this is clearly seen in this photo just to the left of the walking platform.
Lake Cave is the most 'actively dripping' cave in the south west, and it's the only cave on the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge that has a permanent lake.
One of the most breathtaking caves I have ever visited!! If you are in the Margaret River area, then I HIGHLY recommend having a look.
