"On arrival we greeted by a lovely lady on reception who offered us freshly baked cookies. Our room was very spacious ( room 431) and looked out onto the grass and trees. Long walk from reception to our room. Unfortunately we found hairs in the bottom of the shower, sink and on one of our pillows. On reporting it to reception a member of house keeping appeared to clean the bathroom and change the pillow cases. Ours was not the only one to have hairs on the bedding. We were told that this time of year people shed hair more and the clean laundry ccoming in has been having hairs still stuck in the fibres. I suggested that maybe the laundry company should be double checking clean laundry before sending back to the hotel. Why should the house keeping team have extra work of having to change bedding because the laundry company are sending out linen with hairs stuck in the fibres. We ate dinner next door in the Clock Tower which has a great choice of menu and lovely staff. Slept really well although the pillows were very flat, helped having air conditioning and lovely quiet room. We had a problem with our shower the water kept getting scorching hot. Breakfast lots of choice. Cooked breakfast was warm but not hot. Thought it would of been to a better standard. Cooked breakfast was cold on our second morning and not enjoyable. Reported hot water in shower to reception maintenance looked at it but it was just the same. Not good as someone could get scolded ."

"We had an enjoyable time staying here. A pit stop on the way to another venue. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The sauna and steam room were excellent. The staff very pleasant, helpful and smiley. We didn’t try any food here as we went out. Would stay here again."
